Construction to Begin on Faison's Waterlynn Ridge Apartment Community in Mooresville

Charlotte, NC  —  May 21, 2007 — Faison is pleased to announce that construction has begun on the Waterlynn Ridge apartment community in Mooresville. Waterlynn Ridge is situated within the 50-acre Waterlynn Place mixed-use development located on Waterlynn Road and US 21 in Mooresville, NC and is adjacent to the existing Waterlynn residential project. The Waterlynn Place development is located within one mile of Mooresville’s two largest employers: Lowe’s Home Improvement Warehouse corporate headquarters, and Lake Norman Regional Medical Center. Waterlynn Place has been rezoned to accommodate the development of 312 apartment units. 63 for-sale townhomes and 22 single family lots, and 75,000 square feet of office space.

Amenities for the new apartment community include a clubhouse with a fully equipped exercise room, club lounge and a towering stone double-sided fireplace that overlooks the outdoor pool recreational area. Architecture for Waterlynn Ridge will consist of a pleasing blend of modern and craftsman detail, featuring an impressive steel beam entry to the clubhouse.

Preston Partnership, LLC of Charlotte, NC will serve as architects for the apartment phase of the Waterlynn development, while Superior Construction also located in Charlotte will serve as the general contractor.

“We are excited about the promising location of Waterlynn,” remarked Neil Kapadia, Managing Director of Mid-Atlantic Commercial and Residential Development for Faison, “The close proximity to the area’s two largest employers and the desirable Lake Norman locale is a good combination that should look attractive to potential residents and tenants.”
