Faison Announces Expansion of Waldorf Marketplace

Bethesda, MD – April 23, 2007 - Faison’s Bethesda office is pleased to announce the expansion of its thriving Waldorf Marketplace, a 475,000 sf Regional Community Center located in the hub of the Charles County’s Development District.  Located in Maryland’s fastest growing region, this area serves as the principal center of employment and services for Charles County. Phase I of the project opened in Fall 2004 featuring Safeway, A.C. Moore, Office Depot, and Petco as well as a fantastic mix of national, regional, and local specialty shops and restaurants.

The second phase of the project has already enjoyed successful openings for TJ Maxx/Home Goods, DSW, Dress Barn, and Kincaid’s Home Furnishings. These exciting tenants will be joined by Famous Footwear, Kool Kicks 4 Kids, America’s Best, and two restaurant pad sites featuring Mimi’s Café and TGI Friday’s among other fine shops.  Phase III of the project will consist of a  15,000 sf Walgreens along with Andrews Federal Credit Union and one additional outparcel. Other Faison projects in southern Maryland include Brandywine Crossing, Rosewick Crossing, and Dunkirk Gateway.
