Jay Faison is CEO of SnapAV a company he founded in 2005. SnapAV engineers, manufactures and distributes more than 900 audio-video related products to businesses across North America and Latin America. In 2010 SnapAV was listed in the Inc. 500, which is an annual report on the fastest growing companies in America. Previously Jay founded and managed Zobo.tv, a three-store home theater retail operation, and Blockbuster Portugal, a Blockbuster franchisee with 27 stores.

Jay received B.A. in economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an MBA from the University of Virginia. Jay resides in Charlotte, NC with his wife and three children.

Henry J. Faison
Chairman and Founder

Mr. Faison is Chairman and Founder of Faison Enterprises, Inc., successor to a series of affiliated real estate partnerships and corporations which he created beginning in the 1960's.

Mr. Faison received his Bachelor of Science in Economics from Davidson College and his Masters of Business Administration from The Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia.

Mr. Faison is a member of the Urban Land Institute and International Council of Shopping Centers. He has also served as board member of numerous non-industry organizations including the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, the Center for Real Estate Advisory at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and The Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia.

J. Alfred Broaddus, Jr.
President (retired),
Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond

Mr. Broaddus retired from the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond in 2004, where he had served as president from 1993 to 2004.  In this role he served as a member of the Federal Open Market Committee of the Federal Reserve System.  Prior to his term as president, he held a variety of positions in his 34-year career with the Bank, including director of research.  He was a member of the Economic Advisory Panel of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York from 2004 to 2009. .   

Mr. Broaddus received his B.A. degree in political science from Washington and Lee University in 1961, and M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in economics from Indiana University in 1970 and 1972, respectively.  He also earned a graduate degree from the Center for Advanced European Studies at the University of Strasbourg, France, in 1962 while on a Fulbright Fellowship.  He served in the U.S. Army from 1962 to 1964.  He received honorary doctor of laws degrees from Washington and Lee in 1993 and Hampden-Sydney College in 2004, and a Distinguished Alumnus Award from Indiana in 1996. 

Mr. Broaddus is currently a director of Albemarle Corporation, Faison Enterprises, Inc., Markel Corporation, Owens and Minor, Inc., and T. Rowe Price Group.  He is also a member of the board of visitors of Virginia Commonwealth University.  Active in civic work in Richmond, Mr. Broaddus is currently a member of the boards of directors of the American Civil War Center at Historic Tredegar, Venture Richmond, and the Virginia Council on Economic Education.  He is also a member of the advisory board of the Massey Cancer Center at the VCU Medical Center.  He is a former chairman of the boards of St. Christopher’s School and the United Way of Greater Richmond, and a former member of the boards of the Powell Foundation for Economic Literacy, the Richmond Memorial Health Foundation, and the Virginia Historical Society.

Philip W. Norwood
President and Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Norwood has been President and Chief Executive Officer of Faison since 1994 and, as such, is responsible for overall leadership, guidance, and direction of all of the company's business activities.

Prior to joining Faison, Mr. Norwood was a partner for more than thirteen years with Trammell Crow Company, first in Washington, D.C. and then Dallas, Texas, serving in a number of key positions including: Chief Administrative Officer and General Counsel; President, Chief Executive Officer, and Chairman of Trammell Crow Realty Advisors; Managing Partner of Trammell Crow Ventures; President of Trammell Crow Real Estate Investors, a publicly traded REIT; and Vice-Chairman of Trammell Crow Company (NYSE).

Mr. Norwood holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honors from Washington & Lee University, a Masters from Duke University, and a Juris Doctor cum laude from the University of Georgia School of Law.

Mr. Norwood is a member of the Urban Land Institute, International Council of Shopping Centers, and the Real Estate Roundtable. He serves on the boards of Mid-America Apartment Communities Inc. (NYSE:MAA), Pacolet Milliken Enterprises, Inc., and numerous non-industry organizations including Opera Carolina (Past Chairman), Charlotte Chamber of Commerce, and Rector (Chairman) of the Board of Trustees of Washington & Lee University.

Thomas P. Hollowell

Former Managing Director and Co-Founder Bowles Hollowell Conner & Co.

Formerly a Managing Director and Co-Founder, Mr. Hollowell is now an Advisory Board Member of Fidus Partners, a Charlotte, North Carolina based investment banking firm.

Mr. Hollowell retired in 1999 as Managing Director and Co-Founder of Bowles Hollowell Conner & Co. a Charlotte, North Carolina based investment banking company. The company was established in 1975 as an investment banking firm specializing in middle market transactions, advising leveraged buy-out firms and corporations on transactions from $10 million to $150 million in size. Prior to co-founding the firm, he was a member of Arthur Andersen’s tax department (1969-1971), Vice President of Corporate and Public Finance for Interstate Securities Corporation (1971-1975), and Executive Vice President of Textron Inc. in Providence, Rhode Island (1992-1995).

Mr. Hollowell earned his Bachelor of Arts in Accounting in 1965, his Juris Doctor in 1968, and his Masters of Law in Taxation in 1969; all degrees from The College of William and Mary.

Mr. Hollowell and his wife Lyttleton Rich have six children; Matthew, Mary, Andrew, Elizabeth, Patrick, and Nicholson.

Arthur Fields
Former President and CEO of Crescent Resources LLC

Art Fields served as president and CEO of Crescent Resources LLC, a Charlotte, NC-based land management and real estate development company with land interests in nine states in the southeast and southwestern United States. Under his leadership, his team created award-winning country club communities, mixed-use developments, apartment and condominium communities, class A office buildings, business and industrial parks and shopping centers. Prior to joining Crescent, Mr. Fields was with Mathews Company, a real estate development firm in Nashville, TN


Mr. Fields graduated from Murray State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and a Master of Arts degree in Business Administration with a concentration in finance. He received the Murray State University Distinguished Alumnus Award in April 2002.

Fields is a past trustee of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), and past chairman of the ULI Charlotte Council. He currently serves on the executive committee of the DukeMansion/Lee Institute. He served as treasurer of the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, was a member of Clemson University's Public Service and Agriculture (PSA) Advisory Board, is past chairman of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Utility Department (CMUD) Advisory Board, a past member of Lambda Alpha Board, the Urban Land Institute Audit Committee, Charlotte Chamber of Commerce Land Use Committee and Murray State University School of Business Board of Advisors.
