Commercial Asset Management
Since the early 1980s, Faison has acquired more than $1.4 billion of suburban and CBD office, neighborhood and regional retail, industrial and for lease multi-family properties on behalf of domestic and international institutional investors, high net worth investors, partnership relationships, as well as for its own account. Our team of real estate professionals’ experience encompasses all aspects of real estate investment and management, including acquisition, financing, disposition, leasing, property and construction management. Our hands-on understanding of the complex asset management issues confronting commercial real estate has proven to be critical in the enhancing performance of such properties. Through intensive asset management, leasing and repositioning, these properties have shown strong increases in value in nearly every instance.
Faison’s asset management approach is driven by the real estate operating experience that has been accumulated over nearly five decades. We focus on fundamental real estate analysis but consider factors such as the macroeconomic environment, the direction of the business cycle and local real estate market conditions. The asset management group has responsibility for all aspects of a property, beginning with participation in acquisition due diligence and concluding with sale. Effective leadership is predicated on establishing clear, strategic direction to maximize asset value and satisfying a particular client's requirements. This entails direct participation in all critical property level activities. The asset management group drives the disposition process including sale recommendation, pricing, marketing and closing.
